A gentle first introduction
Puppy Grooming in Cardiff
Suitable for: Puppies aged 12 weeks and over
Starting your puppy's grooming journey on the right foot makes all the difference. Our puppy grooming service is designed to be a calm, positive and unhurried experience — helping your young dog build confidence and learn that grooming is something to enjoy, not fear.
During the session, we introduce your puppy gently to the sounds, sensations and tools involved in grooming. We work at your puppy's pace, using plenty of positive reinforcement. The session typically includes a gentle bath with puppy-safe shampoo and conditioner, a warm blow dry, light brushing, a basic tidy of the face, feet and tail, and a nail file or trim.
We recommend starting puppy grooming as early as possible — ideally within a few weeks of completing their vaccination course — to establish a positive routine from the very beginning.

Full Dog Groom
Suitable for: All breeds and coat types
Our full groom is a comprehensive, head-to-tail grooming experience tailored entirely to your dog's breed, coat type and your personal preferences. This is our most popular service and the one we'd recommend for most dogs visiting us regularly.
We begin with a thorough pre-bath brush to remove any loose fur and work through tangles, followed by a bath using premium, breed-appropriate shampoo and conditioner. Your dog is then carefully blow dried and brushed out before the main styling begins.
Whether your dog requires a breed-standard scissor finish, a practical clipper cut or something in between, we take the time to achieve a result that looks beautiful and suits your dog's lifestyle. We finish with a nail trim, ear clean and a light spritz of dog-safe cologne.

Bath & Blow Dry
Suitable for: All breeds, ideal for maintenance between full grooms
The bath and blow dry is the perfect maintenance service for dogs who are kept in a short or easy-to-manage coat, or for those who simply need freshening up between full grooms. It's also a wonderful option for dogs who are new to grooming and need to build confidence gradually.
Your dog will receive a thorough wash using our premium shampoo and conditioner, selected to suit their coat type and skin. We then blow dry and brush out the coat to leave it clean, fluffy and tangle-free.
This service does not include a haircut, but we can include a light tidy of the face, feet and tail if required — just let us know when you book.

Nail Clipping & Hygiene Tidy
Suitable for: All dogs, as a standalone or add-on service
Regular nail trimming is an essential part of your dog's health and comfort. Overgrown nails can cause discomfort when walking and, over time, can affect your dog's posture and joint health. Our nail clipping service is quick, calm and stress-free.
The hygiene tidy service addresses the areas that need regular attention between full grooms: the sanitary area, paw pads, and any areas prone to matting or hygiene issues. This service is ideal as a standalone appointment or as an add-on to any other service.
We always take a gentle, patient approach — especially with dogs who find nail trimming stressful. If your dog is particularly anxious about their nails, please mention this when booking so we can plan accordingly.

Frequently asked questions
How often should my dog be groomed?
This depends on your dog's breed and coat type. Most dogs benefit from a full groom every 6–8 weeks, while some longer-coated breeds may need attention every 4–6 weeks. We're happy to advise on the right schedule for your dog.
My dog is nervous — is that okay?
Absolutely. We specialise in working with anxious and nervous dogs. Our calm, quiet environment and one-to-one approach means there are no other dogs around to cause stress. We always work at your dog's pace.
What age can puppies start grooming?
We recommend starting puppy grooming from around 12–16 weeks, ideally a few weeks after their second vaccination. Early introductions help puppies build positive associations with grooming.
Do I need to stay during the groom?
Most dogs actually relax more quickly when their owner isn't present. We'll keep you updated and you're welcome to collect your dog as soon as they're ready. We'll always contact you if there are any concerns.
What products do you use?
We use high-quality, professional grooming products that are gentle on skin and coat. We always select products appropriate to your dog's coat type. Please let us know about any known allergies or sensitivities when booking.
Do you groom all breeds?
We groom dogs of all breeds and sizes. If you have a particularly large breed or a dog with a very specialist coat, please get in touch before booking so we can discuss whether we're the right fit.
